The Language Club promotes the learning and appreciation of different languages and cultures among its members. The club aims to enhance language skills, foster cultural understanding, and provide opportunities for members to explore different cultures through experiences, and even travel to different countries. We will be going on an immersion trip this summer, staying with host families, attending classes in the morning, local summer camps in the afternoon and doing group activities such as going to a traditional Sugar Shack, a history tour of the citadel, eating at the famous "Aux Anciens Canadiens," going on a ghost tour of old city, and more! Quebec city city offers safety, proximity to Lake Placid, affordability, outstanding cultural and historic resources in a 100% francophone environment. Quebec has been rated one of the safest cities in North America. Quebec city is also the heart of francophone culture in Quebec province. While Montreal is close, bilingual and metropolitan, Quebec city offers a deep-rooted, 100% francophone experience in a 400 year old fortified small, welcoming city on the steep banks of the tidal St. Lawrence River.
